Although Jeep took the wraps off the 2015 Jeep Renegade earlier this month at the Geneva Motor Show, Jeep has yet to release the pricing for the small SUV. Well it looks like someone over at Jeep might have accidentally released the pricing, which was discovered by Autoblog who did a simple Google search, revealing a starting price set at $18,595.

It's not known if the pricing on Google is simply a placeholder from the outgoing Compass or if it is accurate. Jeep spokesman Todd Goyer refused to comment on the findings, but did state that the Renegade will arrive in showrooms at the end of this year and in the U.S. in the first quarter of 2015. The placeholder also revealed the "as shown" pricing for the upgraded Trailhawk edition, which will possibly start at $25,895. If the 2015 Renegade does start under $19,000, it's pricing will closely mirror the Nissan Juke, but will be $5,000 higher than the starting price for the Kia Soul.

When the 2015 Renegade arrives in early 2015 it should signal the end of the Jeep Compass and Patriot models, although Jeep hasn't released an official death certificate for them. The Renegade, which borrows its platform from the Fiat 500L, will be the smallest Jeep available. Could Jeep go even smaller in the future? Jeep is currently mulling the idea of an A segment SUV that would be smaller than the Renegade, but before that happens Jeep is going to release a new Grand Wagoneer that will be larger than the Grand Cherokee.
