The 2015 Dodge Challenger and Charger and set to be unveiled at the 2014 New York International Auto Show this coming Thursday, April 17 at 11:30 AM EDT. You can check out the live unveiling here.

Unlike past updates of the Charger and Challenger, this one should prove to be different, and by different I am referring to an entire refresh from the inside out. The Challenger is getting the Full Monty as far as updates go, and that will include a new body style and heavy duty powertrain.

The Charger may receive even more of an update, including what has been described as a new exterior design that leaves no single body panel untouched. All we know from Dodge is that the 2015 Charger will be “sleeker, more modern,” which is not much to go on, but we're only two days away from the truth.

However, probably the most exciting reason to watch the unveiling is to see what's up with the 660+ horsepower Hellcat we've heard so much about. There is even a possibility that the Charger could receive a version of the hellcat engine. Of course, there is also the possibility that the Hellcat will not make an appearnace at all.

With that said, don't be too bummed if there is no supercharged 660 horsepower V8, as that could still be good news. If the Hellcat does not make an appearance at the New York Auto Show, there is a good chance Dodge could be reserving it for their upcoming Baracuda. Yeah, the Cuda is pretty much confirmed to be on the way, we just don't know when we're going to see it.
