The Honda 150SS RACER Concept has recently been unveiled at the recently concluded 2017 Bangkok motor show, with hints of café racer styling. That said, the 150SS RACER Concept allegedly features muscular fuel tank with its headlight design which was inspired by the old generation SS motorcycles. However, apart from this information, Honda hasn't revealed much details but a number of vehicle enthusiasts are hoping that it could have the mechanical bits from the CBR150R.
According to Maxim, Honda's 150SS reportedly features a low-mounted, side-exit exhaust with the likes of those latest sport bikes which has also incorporated the tasty carbon fiber components. It was found that the sportbike styling and wide rims allegedly provide an aggressive stance for the 150SS, which is then being enhanced by the racy muffler.
On the other hand, experts say that the details included in the 150SS indicate that something more than just a design exercise is being developed. While final production and technical details are yet to be revealed, the 150SS concept purportedly provides an affirmation in terms of the future of Honda's motorcycle style.
Meanwhile, as per Drive Spark, the 150SS Racer concept features fully digital instrument cluster, LED round headlight and tank that adds for a more muscular look. With that, motorcycle experts believe that Honda's 150SS could be a different kind of motorcycle that will fall into the category of premium round headlamp motorcycles.
In addition, despite150SS RACER's uncertainty of whether it will see production anytime soon, given the global success of the Grom, it will not be surprising to see the RACER being reproduced within a year or so. Ultimately, with the150SS being allegedly equipped with premium parts, Honda's soon to be flagship in motorcycles looks interesting with its unique design.
