Following after the company has unveiled their 2018 Edge model; car enthusiasts have then been convinced that Ford Edge will pave the way for an era of a new Sport Appearance package. That said, buyers of the 2018 Ford Edge SEL allegedly gives them the ability of pumping up the profile of their distinctive midsize crossover starting this fall when it goes on sale.

In addition, it was found that regardless if it's fitted with the 2.0-liter EcoBoost 4-cylinder or the optional 3.5 V6, the Sport Appearance Package for the 2018 Edge adds a selection of cosmetic touches for the mid-range SEL models.

According to Kelley Blue Book, SEL's exterior has been tweaked which consequently brought the blacked-out headlamp bezels and side window trim that sets off with Magnetic Metallic-painted finish in the grille surround. Additionally, the interiors of SEL Sport Appearance Package promises to feature the new Mayan Gray fabric seat upholstery with Umber Miko perforated sueded-cloth inserts and Umber contrast stitching. The Umber theme would allegedly carry the "Edge" logo while the dash features a distinctive Copper Sands applique.

Furthermore, as per Car And Driver, what helps the Edge SEL to look better and stand out are a set of dark-colored 19-inch, 10-spoke wheels. In turn, these wheels are reportedly being complemented by a similarly darkened grille, including its mirror caps, rear spoiler, and a decorative front and rear skid plates. As of the press time, customers are allegedly given three optional leather seats to get Sync 3.

Additionally, Ford says that buyers would also be able to experience a panoramic sunroof, black roof rack side rails, blind spot monitoring, hands-free lift gate, and navigation. However, in terms of its pricing, Ford is yet to reveal its price range the 2018 Ford Edge, but, it was found that the 2017 SEL starts at $32,685.
