Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun has recently confirmed that Xiaomi Mi 6 flagship device will be launched this month itself. This comes right after several images have been gradually emerging on several occasions, and its launch date has been fluctuating alongside.
That said, Xiaomi Mi 6 is reportedly scheduled to be making its debut either on April 11 or April 18. However, it was found that invites from the company's end are yet to be rolled out.
Xiaomi Mi 6: Specs, Price And Features
According to Tech, the flagship device was allegedly hinted at two different variants; the highest variant of the smartphone will be priced at CNY 3,599 which is also the highest for any smartphone by Xiaomi.
With the first variant's specifications, it reportedly includes a 5.15-inch display, Snapdragon 835 processor clocked at 2.45GHz, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. On the other hand, the second variant has mentioned a 5.15-inch display with a 2.5D glass, a Snapdragon 835 processor but the clock speed appears not to have been mentioned just yet.
Apparently, it seems that the first variant would be a good choice for most users because of its other features such as the camera and battery capacity that is not found on the second variant. Furthermore, it was the device may be launched with a fingerprint sensor that is embedded under the display but further details are yet to be confirmed.
Ultimately, given that it's just a few days left for the unveiling of the smartphone, rumors about the phone is also being expected to increase. As of the press time, Bloomberg reports that Xiaomi is allegedly planning a third factory in India. That said, the company's CEO, Lei Jun said that he's willing to take more risks, including doubling investments to $1 billion over the next few years.
